A rights group says a drone strike in Sudan killed 41 people.
The strike was near the border with Ethiopia.
Emergency Lawyers blamed Friday's strike on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The group said the strike hit a group of displaced people.
They were in the Abu Shandi area of Blue Nile province.
Eight children and many women were among the dead, it said.
An RSF spokesperson did not answer a request for comment.
The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said it was shocked by the reported strike.
The strike also hurt dozens of people.
Denise Brown is the U.N. resident and humanitarian coordinator in Sudan.
She said it was important to condemn the killings.
But she said there must also be accountability.
She said the world still accepts the suffering of the people of Sudan.
Sudan's war began in April 2023.
Tensions between the military and the RSF turned into open fighting in Khartoum.
Then the fighting spread across the country.
The conflict has killed at least 59,000 people, according to the conflict monitor ACLED.
But aid groups say the real number is probably higher.
U.N. figures show more than 12.4 million people have fled their homes.
Aid groups call this the world's largest humanitarian crisis.
This year, 33.7 million people in Sudan urgently need aid.
This includes 17.3 million children.
And about 825,000 children face severe acute malnutrition.
