The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is carefully observing Iran's nuclear program. Western countries are preparing to criticize Iran at an important IAEA meeting because they believe Iran is not following the rules. If Iran and the US don't agree, Iran could face sanctions again that were stopped by the 2015 nuclear deal. This growing tension might lead to a new conflict with Iran, and the IAEA is very important in this situation. The IAEA was created in 1957 to check the nuclear materials that member countries say they have. The 2015 nuclear deal allowed Iran to enrich uranium to 3.67%. However, after the US left the agreement in 2018, Iran started enriching up to 60%. If there is no deal with the US, Iran's economy could get worse. Also, Israel or the US might attack Iranian nuclear sites from the air. A deal would probably stop a military attack, but Israel has warned it might act alone to target Iran's program.
