An Egyptian man admitted guilt on Thursday.
He admitted to federal hate crime charges and other charges.
The charges are for a deadly firebomb attack on demonstrators.
The attack was in Boulder, Colorado, last year.
The man is Mohamed Soliman.
He is already serving life in prison.
He is also serving hundreds of years.
He admitted guilt to state charges last spring.
Federal prosecutors said they want life in prison plus 50 years.
That is for the twelve charges.
They had said before they would not seek the death penalty.
Soliman spoke through an interpreter at the hearing.
He said little.
He only said "yes" and "no" to the judge.
That was different from his state court hearing in May.
There he said sorry to the victims.
But he also defended his basic view.
Guards led him out of court in handcuffs and shackles.
He did not look at the victims in the courtroom.
Prosecutors said Soliman yelled "Free Palestine."
He threw two Molotov cocktails at demonstrators.
The demonstrators were marching for hostages.
The hostages were taken in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel.
Prosecutors said he attacked in June 2025.
They said he attacked because the demonstrators were Jewish.
The flames badly burned Karen Diamond.
She was 82.
The flames hurt twelve other people.
Diamond died three weeks later.
Her family said she suffered "indescribable pain."
Soliman admitted guilt to nine federal hate crimes.
One led to Diamond's death.
Eight were for trying to kill other demonstrators.
Three more charges were federal explosives charges.
Colorado U.S. Attorney Peter McNeilly said the plea agreement was "victim-driven."
He said it gave victims all they sought.
Judge John Kane said he would review sentencing guidelines.
Then he will decide whether to accept the recommendation.
Soliman's federal sentencing was set for Jan. 7.
