An Illinois toy company, Learning Resources Inc., has gone to the highest court in the country. They say President Donald Trump put extra taxes on goods from other countries, and he did it without permission from Congress. The company won a case about this before, but now another court is looking at a similar case, so the first decision is on hold. This means Trump can still collect the taxes. Learning Resources says they need a quick decision because the taxes are really bad for businesses and people who buy things. The CEO, Rick Woldenberg, says the taxes are making things unclear and prices are going up a lot. The company's lawyers have said that the court could decide by June if they will take the case, and then they could talk about it in the autumn. The Trump administration says the taxes are allowed because a law lets the president control what comes into the country when there is a national emergency.
