Kristi Noem, the head of Homeland Security, said she will continue the strict immigration rules from the Trump government, even though people are protesting. A judge said that the National Guard could not help at protests, but then a higher court stopped this. The judge's order was only for the National Guard, not for the Marines. The protests started because people were upset about the immigration rules. Governor Gavin Newsom was happy about the judge's order because he wanted the soldiers to stop helping with immigration arrests. Anna Kelly, who speaks for the White House, said the president acted correctly. Protests are still happening, and immigration officers in Los Angeles are showing other places how to protest. But Kristi Noem has said that the government will not stop.
