Big protests against President Trump are planned across the U.S., including a large march in Philadelphia called "No Kings." These protests are happening while the president attends a military parade in Washington to celebrate the Army's 250th anniversary. The protests have increased due to recent government immigration actions and Trump sending National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles, where some protests have become violent. To control the situation, officials and police are using curfews, tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash-bang grenades. National Guard troops are being sent to several states to help the police, and they have made it clear that violence or breaking the law will not be tolerated. The 50501 Movement organized these protests to oppose what they see as the Trump administration's controlling actions. The "No Kings Day of Defiance" is expected to be the biggest single-day protest since Trump returned to office, with events planned in nearly 2000 locations across the country.
