A court has temporarily stopped President Trump from controlling the National Guard in California. These soldiers were sent to Los Angeles because of protests about immigration. Before this, a judge said Trump did not have the right to send them. California's Governor Newsom liked this decision. But the White House said the judge's order was wrong. This decision only affects the National Guard, not other soldiers. Governor Newsom had asked the court to stop the soldiers because he thought it would make things worse. Trump used a special rule that allows him to use the National Guard in some situations.
