The Jaguars had no timeouts, so the Eagles should have kicked the ball into the end zone for a touchback.

Instead, Elliott kept the ball in play.

Ameer Abdullah returned it 53 yards to the Philadelphia 39.

Cam Little then made a 57-yard field goal to win.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said he lost the game for his team.

He put the blame fully on himself.

The Eagles also mismanaged the drive before that kick.

With 25 seconds left and a first down at the Jaguars 34, Jalen Hurts threw incomplete.

That stopped the clock.

Rookie Makai Lemon later went out of bounds instead of going down.

That saved Jacksonville's last timeout.

Hurts said he honors the play calls.

He also said he does not second-guess his coaches publicly.

The Eagles have now lost three straight games for the first time since 2021.

In Washington, the Commanders tied the Giants after running the clock out on themselves.

They were in field-goal range at the time.

Jayden Daniels drove Washington to the Giants 26.

But the team huddled instead of spiking the ball.

Daniels ran and was tackled.

Washington had no time left for a kick.

Coach Dan Quinn took the blame.

He said the sequencing had to come from him.

The Giants also wasted two chances to win in overtime.
