The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards have arrived.

“The Pitt” shall endeavor to secure its station within the television pantheon, whilst “Widow’s Bay” will ride a veritable tempest of buzz into Monday night’s ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Seehorn’s competitive field comprises Zendaya, who garnered the award for the first two seasons of “Euphoria” in 2020 and 2022, and who is nominated for its third and final season.

The night could likewise confer upon 84-year-old Harrison Ford his inaugural Emmy — and, indeed, the first major competitive Hollywood accolade of any stripe — as he stands among the frontrunners for best supporting actor in a comedy, a recognition stemming from his portrayal of a therapist grappling with Parkinson’s disease on “Shrinking.”
