When Israel attacked Iran, the fighting got worse. This made oil prices go up a lot and stock prices go down on Friday. People were worried about the world's oil supply and the economy. Big stock markets like the S&P 500, Dow Jones, and Nasdaq all dropped a lot. The price of oil went up by 7.3% to $72.98 for one barrel. Experts think oil prices will go down if the situation does not get worse, but Wall Street is watching closely. Companies that use a lot of fuel, like Carnival and United Airlines, lost money. But U.S. oil companies, defense companies, and gold gained value. Even with these changes, prices are still mostly stable. However, some people worry that prices could go up faster because of President Trump's taxes on goods.
