In June, people felt more positive about the economy. This was because prices stayed steady, and the US and China paused their trade disagreements. A study showed that people's good feelings about the economy went up by 16%. However, these feelings are still lower than they were in December 2024. This happened after President Trump decided to wait before adding new taxes on goods from many countries. Also, the US and China made a short agreement to stop their trade problems. This helped people worry less about the economy. But, taxes in the US are still high. They might affect the economy more in the next few months. People's feelings about the economy also depend on their political party. Republicans felt more hopeful than Democrats. But this month, people from all parties felt more positive. The Federal Reserve will probably be happy that people think prices will not go up as much.
