Rescue teams and military helicopters searched on Thursday.
They looked for hundreds of missing people along the Nepal-China border.
A big flow of water and mud hit communities a day earlier.
This happened after a glacier broke apart.
Police said more than 360 people died.
Over 1,400 people are missing.
The missing include many foreigners and pilgrims.
Nepal said at least 910 people are missing.
Authorities in Tibet said at least three people died.
They also said 558 people are missing.
Officials in Nepal said many bridges were destroyed.
Nearly 40 kilometers of roads were damaged.
The Nepalese army has saved more than 100 people by helicopter.
China’s premier, Li Qiang, arrived Thursday in Tibet’s Gyirong area.
He came to lead the rescue work.
About 500 soldiers and other workers joined him.
Chinese authorities warned about a new lake.
It formed where two rivers meet.
They said it may break open.
The U.N. gave $2 million for emergency help.
It called the floods "horrifying."
The missing include 517 foreigners.
This is from Nepal’s tourism board.
They include 178 people from India.
More than 60 people are from the U.S.
Many may have been on a trip to Mount Kailash.
The U.S. State Department said 90 Americans are not found.
Climate experts said a glacier avalanche likely caused the sudden flood.
