Google Cloud had a big problem that affected popular online services around the world, like Spotify and Discord. Many users reported issues with these services, and reports for Spotify were highest around 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Google Cloud confirmed the problem, saying it affected customers both in their own country and abroad. Even though they found the cause and started to fix it, Google Cloud couldn't say when the problem would be completely solved. Google Cloud is a big provider of internet services and is the fastest-growing part of Alphabet Inc. Last year, it made $43.2 billion, which is 31% more than in 2023, even though Alphabet still earns most of its money from Google's search engine.
