Figma, a company that makes design software, said on Tuesday that it wants to sell parts of the company to people. We will know more when they show the documents, probably in about a month if things go well.
But because the stock market is changing a lot due to President Trump's trade plans, trying to have an IPO now seems strange.
Figma wants to sell parts of the company to people, but it might not happen as quickly as usual. Normally, it takes about one to two months after they give their private papers to the government.
Figma makes computer programs that help designers work together.
It was recently worth about $12.5 billion. Another company, Adobe, wanted to buy Figma for $20 billion, but the sale did not happen. This was because some countries did not allow it.
Important companies like Sequoia Capital and others are helping the company.
Figma said they would not say anything more.
