Ye, also known as Kanye West, made a brief appearance at Sean “Diddy” Combs' sex trafficking trial in New York on Friday. He was not allowed inside the courtroom but watched the trial on a video screen in another room. He said he was there to support Combs, who is a long-time friend, but he did not say if he would speak for him in court. Combs has said he is not guilty of using his fame, money, and violence to commit sex trafficking and other crimes for more than twenty years. Witnesses, including a woman called "Jane," talked about forced sexual encounters that Combs supposedly arranged. Also, there was a disagreement about where a juror lived. Combs' lawyers said that trying to remove this juror was an attempt to get rid of a Black juror. The judge replied that the jury would still be diverse even without this juror.
