Police said a man from Mississippi bothered actress Jennifer Aniston for two years. He drove his car through the gate of her house in Los Angeles. Now, he is charged with serious crimes for following her and damaging her property.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle is 48 years old and lives in New Albany, Mississippi. The main prosecutor in Los Angeles, Nathan Hochman, said that Jimmy might get a worse punishment because he threatened to hurt someone very much.

Carwyle, who was arrested on Monday and remains in jail, is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. His bail has been set at $150,000, and it is not yet known if he has hired a lawyer.

People say Carwyle bothered Jennifer A. many times by sending her messages she did not want since 2023.

Then on Monday afternoon, Carwyle drove his car through her front gate in Bel Air. This is a rich area in Los Angeles. The crash damaged the gate a lot, say the prosecutors. A security guard stopped him in her driveway before the police came and arrested him.

Police said Aniston was home and nobody was hurt. We tried to contact her, but they did not reply quickly.

Carlyle might go to prison for up to three years if they say he did it.

My office will take people who follow and scare others to court, so they must answer for what they did, Hochman said.
