Warner Bros. Discovery will separate its TV channels from its online streaming service. This is because more people are stopping their cable TV and watching things online instead. The streaming company will have HBO, Warner Bros. movies and TV shows, and DC Studios. The TV channel company will have CNN, sports channels, Discovery, and online services like Discovery+ and Bleacher Report. David Zaslav, the head of Warner Bros. Discovery, will be in charge of the streaming company. Gunnar Wiedenfels will be in charge of the TV channel company. They hope to finish this by the middle of next year, if the board says yes. This change is happening because TV channels are finding it hard to compete with online streaming and other internet options.
