The Israeli military has attacked Iran's capital with many airstrikes, hitting places where they make parts for nuclear centrifuges and missiles. In response, Iran fired about 400 missiles and many drones, which killed at least 24 people in Israel. Iran has warned that if the US gets involved, it could start a big war in the region. However, US President Donald Trump has suggested the US might play a bigger role. A human rights group in Washington says that at least 585 people have died in Iran because of the conflict, including 239 civilians. Because of the fighting, people are leaving Tehran, causing traffic and shops to close. Even though the violence is getting worse, the US and Iran are still talking about finding a peaceful solution, but they have not made much progress yet.
