Ukraine's Security Service announced that a drone attack destroyed over 40 Russian planes inside Russia, while Moscow continued its missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. The attack was planned for more than 18 months, and President Zelenskyy personally managed it. For this operation, drones were secretly brought into Russia and placed in mobile wooden shelters. At the right moment, the drones were released to target Russian bombers. This attack is thought to have destroyed 34% of Russia’s air missile carriers, causing about $7 billion in damage. Meanwhile, peace talks between Ukraine and Russia are expected to continue in Istanbul. A senior defense official stated that the U.S. had not seen such a smart attack before. In response, Russia launched more drones and missiles at Ukraine, which resulted in the deaths of at least 12 Ukrainian soldiers and injured over 60 others.
