Early voting started Friday for U.S. midterm elections.
The final vote is Nov. 3.
Election officials say they are ready.
They say the vote will be correct and safe.
But President Donald Trump still criticizes some voting ways.
He also tries to change how elections work.
Early in-person voting started Friday in Virginia.
In some other states, people can vote early in person now.
These states include Minnesota and South Dakota.
More early voting starts soon in these states and others.
People will vote for governor and state lawmakers in most states.
They will also decide who controls the U.S. House and Senate.
Republicans control them now.
If Democrats win, Congress changes.
Then the last two years of Trump's term change.
There may be investigations and more checks on Trump.
Voters talked about many worries.
They talked about high gas prices and food prices.
They talked about the war in Iran.
They talked about artificial intelligence.
They talked about Trump's immigration rules.
In Minneapolis, Dragan Colakovic said he voted early.
He fears immigration agents will stop him.
In Virginia, Laura Bland said she voted early.
She wants to send "a signal that we're still here."
