Kristi Noem, the head of Homeland Security, said she will continue the Trump government's strict immigration rules, even with protests. A judge said it was wrong to send National Guard soldiers to protests, but a higher court later stopped this. The judge's decision was only for the National Guard, not for the Marines. Governor Gavin Newsom was happy with the judge's decision because he wanted the soldiers to stop helping with immigration arrests. Anna Kelly, a White House spokesperson, said the president acted within his powers. Protests are still happening, and immigration officers in Los Angeles are showing other cities how to handle similar situations. But Noem said the government will not stop.
