A court has temporarily stopped President Trump from controlling California's National Guard soldiers. These soldiers were sent to Los Angeles because of protests about immigration. A judge said that Trump sending them was against the law. California's Governor Newsom liked this decision. But the White House said the judge's order was wrong. This decision only affects the National Guard, not other soldiers. Governor Newsom had asked the court to stop the soldiers from coming. He thought it would make problems worse. Trump used a special rule to send the soldiers.
