Ten people in the U.S. are sick because of food. A company is taking back some food products.

Ten people got sick after eating food from a company in California.

The company sold the food in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Washington. You could buy it in shops, hospitals, hotels, small shops, airports, and on planes.

Listeria symptoms often start in two weeks after eating bad food. You can feel sick with fever, muscle aches, or feel tired. You can also have a headache or feel confused.

People started looking at the sickness last year, but they didn't know where it came from. They looked again in April because they found the same sickness in food from Fresh & Ready Foods.

Fresh & Ready Foods said they fixed the problem fast. They took away machines to fix it.

Six people who were sick were in the hospital before. Food from Fresh & Ready was at three hospitals where these people were.

Sick people gave test samples from December 2023 to September 2024.

Fresh & Ready took back some food. Look for the dates April 22 to May 19. The names are Fresh & Ready Foods, City Point Market Fresh Food to Go, and Fresh Take Crave Away.
