Google Cloud confirmed the incident, saying it affected customers both in the US and internationally. Even though they found the main cause and started to fix it, Google Cloud could not say when the problem would be completely fixed. Google Cloud, which hosts many internet services, is the fastest-growing part of Alphabet Inc. Last year, it earned $43.2 billion, which was a 31% increase from 2023, even though most of Alphabet's profits still come from Google's search engine.
