Meta is putting a lot of money, $14.3 billion, into an AI company called Scale. Scale's boss, Alexandr Wang, will also work for Meta's special AI team. This is part of Meta's plan to make its AI better so it can compete with companies like Google. Scale will still be its own company, but Meta will own almost half of it (49%). Wang will go to Meta with a small team, but he will stay on Scale's board. A new temporary boss, Jason Droege, will take his place at Scale. Because of this money, Scale is now worth more than $29 billion. We don't know what this deal will mean for Scale's other customers, like General Motors and Toyota.
