Meta is putting $14.3 billion into an AI company called Scale. Scale's CEO, Alexandr Wang, will also join Meta's special AI team. This is part of Meta's plan to make its AI better so it can compete with companies like Google. Scale will still be a separate company, but Meta will own almost half of it (49%). Wang will move to Meta with a small group of his team, but he will still be on Scale's board. Jason Droege will be the temporary CEO of Scale. This investment means Scale is now worth more than $29 billion. It is not clear what this deal will mean for Scale's other customers, like General Motors and Toyota.
