Meta is putting $14.3 billion into an AI company called Scale. Scale's boss, Alexandr Wang, will also join Meta's special AI team. This is part of Meta's plan to make its AI better so it can compete with other companies like Google. Scale will stay independent, but Meta will now own almost half of it. Wang will move to Meta with a small group of people, but he will still be on Scale's board. Jason Droege will be the new boss of Scale for a short time. This money means Scale is now worth more than $29 billion. We don't know what this deal will mean for Scale's other customers, like General Motors and Toyota.
