Google's app for iPhone has a new tool. It helps you understand hard words on the internet. You can stay on the same page.
Simplify helps you understand hard words. It uses Google's Gemini to make text easy to read. Google says people understand and remember better with Simplify.
Google wants people to use its tools and not other tools.
To use Simplify, choose text on a webpage. Then, tap the Simplify button. You will see text that is easier to understand. This helps you read better.
Google's blog shows an example. It might say: "This sickness changes the lungs."
This problem makes the lungs not work well. The lungs have damage and scars. The body's defense system also changes. The blood parts in the lungs change too.
Google wants to help people understand difficult things on the internet.
Google said, "Our models need to write hard ideas in a simple way that is right. The new words must help people understand hard things, and the first information must still be right."
Simplify app will be available for iPhone users this week.
