Google's app for iPhones has a new tool called "Simplify". This tool uses smart computers to make hard words on websites easier to understand. You don't need to leave the website.
Simplify helps make hard text easier to read.
Google wants to help people understand difficult things easily.
To use Simplify, pick text on a webpage in the Google app. Tap the "Simplify" button. You will see the text made simple so you can read it better.
On Google's blog, they show how this can work.
This sickness makes the lungs not work well.
Small parts of the lungs called air sacs get broken (emphysema).
The lungs also get hard marks inside (fibrosis).
Cells that fight sickness in the lungs change. The body makes more things to control these cells. The blood parts in the lungs also change a lot.
Google says this helps people understand hard things on the internet.
Google said: Our models need to write difficult ideas in easy words. They must not make mistakes or forget important things. The new text should help people understand difficult things. It should keep the meaning of the first text.
Simplify is coming to iOS phones this week.
