Amazon has a new robot named Vulcan. This robot can feel some things it touches.
The robot is called Vulcan and it has two arms. One arm moves things in the storage area, and the other arm has a camera and picks up things. It uses sensors to feel when it touches something.
Amazon says its robot, Vulcan, learns from touching things. It can pick about 75% of items in Amazon stores. The robot is in two places: Spokane, USA, and Hamburg, Germany. It has helped with 500,000 orders.
Vulcan is a new robot at Amazon. Amazon uses many robots in its buildings. The robots help the workers and make the buildings safer. Amazon says the robots do not take the place of people. Robots like Vulcan help Amazon workers. They make the buildings safer for people.
