Google has a tool called Simplify. It helps people understand difficult things. Google hopes people will use its tools and services instead of tools from other companies like ChatGPT.
You can make words easier to read. Choose the words on a website in the Google app. Then tap the button that says "Simplify".
Google's blog shows an example. You might see a sentence like this: "This sickness makes your lungs not work well. It is a difficult problem to understand."
This sickness makes it hard to breathe. It hurts the lungs and changes how they work.
Google says this helps people understand hard things they see on the internet.
Google said: "Our programs need to write hard ideas in a simple way. The new words must be correct and help people learn hard things."
Simplify will be available on phones this week.
