TikTok shows reviews for places in video comments. This helps you learn about places easily.
If you use TikTok and have the new feature, you will see 'Reviews' on the right when you look at comments.
For example, you see a video about Central Park in New York City. You can see what people think about the park: how many stars they give, what they write, and their pictures.
You can click on a name to see their profile.
Some people like the new thing, but others think there is too much on the screen.
TikTok wants to be a search engine, like Google.
In 2022, someone at Google said TikTok was taking users from Google Search and Maps. This was true for young people. Now, TikTok is big and competes with Google in many ways.
TikTok is popular for finding places. Last year, TikTok added a new feature. You can use a photo to find things in TikTok Shop.
In September 2024, TikTok let companies put their ads on the search page. So, when people searched, they saw the ads.
We don't know if TikTok will give everyone the reviews tab. TikTok did not tell us. Only some videos with a place showed the feature.
