Carlos Alcaraz won the French Open final against Jannik Sinner, even though he was two sets behind. He managed to win by saving three match points. This is Alcaraz's fifth major title and his second French Open win in a row. He is also the ninth player in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam final after being two sets down. Alcaraz is only 22 years old, and this win is his 20th career title. The final lasted 5 hours and 29 minutes, making it the longest French Open final in the Open Era. Even though Sinner lost, he showed good sportsmanship, especially when he gave Alcaraz a point in the 11th game. Many famous people watched the match, including actors Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman, director Spike Lee, singer Pharrell Williams, Formula 1 driver George Russell, and rugby player Antoine Dupont.
