American tennis player Coco Gauff won her second major title at the French Open, a trophy she had wanted for a long time. Gauff beat the top-ranked player, Aryna Sabalenka, after being inspired by Olympic champion Gabby Thomas, who writes positive things about herself. Gauff used this idea and wrote many times that she would win the French Open before the final match. Even though many people thought she would lose, Gauff stayed calm and focused during the match, while Sabalenka had trouble controlling her feelings. Gauff has found it helpful to show her emotions before games, which helps her stay calm during matches. After her win, Gauff plans to play in the grass-court season and might play in a tournament in Berlin before going to Wimbledon.
