Prosecutors said on Wednesday that a man from Mississippi has been charged with serious crimes. He is accused of following and damaging property. This happened after he bothered actress Jennifer Aniston for two years and then crashed his car through the gate of her house in Los Angeles.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, who is 48 and from New Albany, Mississippi, could get a stronger punishment. This is because he threatened to hurt someone badly, according to District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

Carwyle has been in jail since he was arrested on Monday. He will go to court on Thursday. He needs to pay $150,000 to get out of jail for now. We do not know yet if he has a lawyer.

People say Carwyle kept bothering Jennifer Aniston. In official papers, she is called Jennifer A. They say he sent her messages she did not want on her phone, email, and social media. This started in 2023.

Prosecutors stated that early Monday afternoon, Carwyle crashed his vehicle through her front gate in the wealthy Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, causing significant damage. A security guard stopped him in her driveway before the police arrived and took him into custody.

Police said Aniston was at home. No one was hurt. Her team did not answer messages asking for comments right away.

Carlyle might go to prison for up to three years if they say he did it.

Hochman said his office will work hard to find and punish people who follow and scare others. This way, these people will have to answer for what they did.

According to Architectural Digest, Aniston bought the house with a big garden for about $21 million in 2012.

She became a very famous TV star during her 10 years on the show “Friends” on NBC. Aniston won an Emmy Award for playing the main actress in the comedy show. She was also nominated for nine other awards. Now, she is in the show “The Morning Show” on Apple TV+.
