Actor Idris Elba asked her if she ever felt embarrassed about her name. He also asked if she had met someone with the same name before and how she felt about it.

The artist said she really didn't like her name, Billie, when she was young. She said people always told her it was a boy's name. She wanted a more girl's name, like Violet or Lavender, a nice name like a flower.

But now the singer thinks her name should be Billie, and her millions of fans probably think the same.

Billie Eilish said, "It's funny because 'Billie' feels like the perfect name for me. I love it very much. It feels like the only name I could have because it fits me so well."

The singer of "Wildflower" said her name is like her grandfather's name, William. She never met him, but he was the first person named Billy she knew about.

She said the first Billie she knew was Billie Piper from Doctor Who. She liked Doctor Who a lot, so she was happy about that. But she was also angry because she thought, 'Why are they using my name for someone else? That is not okay!'
