In June, people felt more positive about the economy for the first time in six months. Prices stayed stable, and the US and China agreed to stop fighting about trade for a while. A study showed that people's good feelings about the economy went up by 16%. This happened because President Trump decided not to add more taxes on goods from many countries, and he made a short agreement with China. This made people worry less about the economy. However, taxes in the US are still high, and they might cause more problems for the economy later. Republicans feel more positive about the economy than Democrats. But this month, people from both parties and those who don't belong to a party felt better. The Federal Reserve will probably be happy that people think prices will not go up as much.
