Warner Bros. Discovery is going to divide its TV channels from its online streaming service. This will make two separate companies. Many people are now watching shows online instead of on regular TV. The company for streaming and movies will have HBO, Warner Bros. Television, and DC Studios. The company for TV channels will include CNN, TNT Sports in the U.S., and Discovery. David Zaslav, the main leader of Warner Bros. Discovery, will be in charge of the streaming and movies company. Gunnar Wiedenfels will be the leader of the TV channel company. They think this will be finished by the middle of next year, if the board says yes. This change is happening because TV channels are finding it harder to compete with online streaming and other internet options.
