Warner Bros. Discovery plans to separate its cable TV channels from its streaming service, creating two distinct companies. This move is a response to more people canceling traditional cable subscriptions. One company, Streaming & Studios, will include HBO and Warner Bros. The other, Global Networks, will focus on channels like CNN and Discovery. The separation is expected to be completed by the middle of next year, once the board gives its final approval.
