Russian drones hit a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih on Friday.

Kryvyi Rih is a city in central Ukraine.

Local officials said 14 people died and 121 others were hurt.

This number includes 22 children.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy comes from Kryvyi Rih.

He said the attack happened in two parts.

First, drones hit the area.

Then, more drones came when rescue workers arrived.

He called it a terrorist act.

He said Ukraine would answer.

The attack came one day after Russia hit Kyiv with missiles and drones.

At least 16 people died in that attack.

In recent months, Russia has used more ballistic missiles on the capital.

Ukraine does not have enough U.S.-made Patriot interceptors.

These are the only weapons that can stop such missiles.

Big Russian attacks have become common this summer.

The UN said Kyiv was one of the hardest-hit cities in July.

At least 54 civilians died there.

Earlier on Friday, a Russian drone attack hit the Kharkiv region.

Two women died.

They were 73 and 66 years old.

Two other people were hurt.

Ukraine's air force said it shot down or stopped 107 of 135 Russian drones from the night.

In Russia, a Ukrainian drone attack killed one person in the Belgorod region.

Four others were hurt, local officials said.

Zelenskyy said a separate Ukrainian drone attack hit an oil refinery in Perm.

Perm is more than 1,600 kilometers from Ukraine's border.

The attack also hit the Marinovka military airfield in the Volgograd region.

Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defenses stopped 325 Ukrainian drones overnight.

This happened over 15 regions and Crimea.

Later, it shot down another 211 drones.

Analysts say long-range attacks have increased because troops cannot make big progress on the ground.

Ukraine wants to pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin into peace talks.
