In Israel, at least 24 people have died and over 1,000 have been hurt in the war. Israeli attacks on Iran have killed at least 974 people and injured 3,458 others, according to Human Rights Activists, a group from Washington.

The group, which has given specific numbers of people killed in Iranian protests, including those after Mahsa Amini's death in 2022, reported that 387 of the dead were civilians and 268 were security personnel.

The U.S. has helped about 250 American citizens and their close family members leave Israel. They used government, military, and private planes for these flights, which began over the weekend, according to a State Department official. It is believed that around 700,000 American citizens are currently in Israel, and most of them are also Israeli citizens.
