A plane crash in India killed 241 people, but only one person, Vishwashkumar Ramesh, survived. This unusual event caused a lot of discussion online. Ramesh was reportedly thrown from the plane and, despite being confused and injured, he was able to walk to an ambulance for help. There have been other plane crashes in the past where only one person survived. For example, Cecelia Crocker survived a 1987 crash that killed 154 people, including her family. George Lamson Jr. survived a 1985 crash, Bahia Bakari survived a crash in 2009, and Jim Polehinke was the only survivor of a 2006 crash.
