Israel has attacked Iran's capital with many airstrikes, hitting places where uranium centrifuges and missile parts are made. In return, Iran fired about 400 missiles and hundreds of drones, killing at least 24 people in Israel. Iran has warned that if the US gets involved, it could start a full war in the region. Even so, US President Donald Trump has suggested the US might play a bigger part. A human rights group in Washington says that at least 585 people have died in Iran because of the fighting, including 239 civilians. During the conflict, people have been leaving Tehran, causing traffic jams and shops to close. Even though the violence is getting worse, the US and Iran are still talking about finding a peaceful solution, but they haven't made much progress yet.
