Israel has conducted numerous airstrikes on facilities in Iran's capital that produce uranium centrifuges and missile components. In response, Iran launched around 400 missiles and hundreds of drones, resulting in at least 24 deaths in Israel. Iran has cautioned that any involvement from the US could lead to a full-scale war in the region, even as US President Donald Trump has indicated a more significant role for the US. A human rights organization based in Washington reports that at least 585 people have died in Iran, including 239 civilians. Amidst the conflict, people are evacuating Tehran, causing severe traffic and the closure of many shops. Despite the increasing violence, discussions between the US and Iran to find a diplomatic solution are continuing, but they have not made much headway so far.
