Russian and Ukrainian representatives met again in Turkey to talk about peace, after both sides had attacked each other, including a big drone attack by Ukraine on Russian air bases. During these talks, Russia gave Ukraine a document with its conditions for stopping the fighting. Ukraine will look at this document before replying. Russia's main demands include Ukraine pulling its soldiers out of four areas Russia took over in 2022, as a condition for a ceasefire. Other conditions are that Ukraine stops calling up more soldiers and receiving weapons from Western countries. Russia also wants Ukraine to ban any foreign military presence on its land. The document also suggests Ukraine ends martial law, holds elections, says it is neutral, gives up its plan to join NATO, limits its army size, and accepts Russian as an official language. Ukraine and Western countries have said no to these demands before. During the talks, both sides agreed to swap the bodies of 6,000 soldiers and create a group to exchange seriously injured troops. These talks happened after Ukraine carried out a complex and unusual drone attack against Russia. This attack took more than a year and a half to plan and damaged or destroyed over 40 warplanes at air bases far inside Russia.
