Brad Lander, who wants to be the mayor of New York City, was arrested by the police at a court for people who come to the country. He was with a person the police wanted to take. Lander held onto the person because he wanted to see a paper from a judge. The police separated them and arrested Lander. After he was let go, Lander said he was trying to protest against the government's rules about people coming to the country in a peaceful way. Other politicians from his party said the police should not have arrested him.
