Some parts of Alaska will get a heat warning for the first time. The weather service now uses this new name. It helps people know if the weather is very hot and bad. The first warning is for Fairbanks. It will be very hot there in June. This change is not about climate change. But hot weather can be a problem in Alaska, especially where there is no air conditioning. Now, only Juneau and Fairbanks can use this warning. Soon, Anchorage might use it too. It is hot in Anchorage, but not hot enough for a warning yet.
