The US is going to cancel visas for some Chinese students, which is making those studying in the country feel unsure about their plans. This decision is for students in important subjects and those connected to the Chinese Communist Party. China sends the second highest number of international students to the US, with more than 270,000 Chinese students there in the 2023-2024 school year. China has complained to the US, and its Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the decision was "unfair" and "discriminatory." This problem has made the relationship between the two countries difficult, and some Chinese students are now choosing to study in other places. Because of this situation, Hong Kong and other countries are giving opportunities to these students.
