Nearly 200 activists in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s "Make America Healthy Again" movement have criticized President Donald Trump.
They do not like his push to use coal for AI data centers.
They sent a letter to Trump on Friday.
They also sent it to Kennedy and other officials.
The letter objects to a 2025 executive order.
That order boosts coal.
The letter asks for renewable options.
It wants solar and geothermal energy.
The activists said American AI leadership should not hurt children.
They said it should not give them a more toxic burden.
White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers responded.
He said emissions hit a 30-year low in Trump's first term.
He said Trump had a mandate.
That mandate is to roll back radical climate policies.
Prominent figures behind the letter include Zen Honeycutt and Charles Eisenstein.
Both are former Kennedy campaign staffers.
Honeycutt said she asked the MAHA Action PAC to sign on.
She got no reply.
The letter marks the first major MAHA mobilization over fossil fuels.
Many in the movement have grown frustrated with the administration.
They are upset about pesticides and environmental deregulation.
Some say they will vote on issues this fall.
They will not vote by party.
The letter asks for transparent review of data center locations and power sources.
It also asks for respect of existing environmental review rules.
