A big problem with Google Cloud affected popular online services like Spotify and Discord all over the world. Many users noticed these issues and reported problems, especially with Spotify around 3 p.m. EST. Google Cloud confirmed the problem, saying it affected customers in many countries. Even though they found the cause and started to fix it, Google Cloud couldn't say when it would be completely fixed. Google Cloud is a main provider for internet services and the fastest-growing part of Alphabet Inc. Last year, it made $43.2 billion, which was 31% more than in 2023, even though Alphabet still gets most of its money from Google's search engine.
